Cookie Policy – Calcvita

This policy explains how Calcvita.com uses cookies and similar technologies while the project is in its launch phase. We implement Google Consent Mode v2 so that no measurement or advertising runs before you make a choice.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored by your browser to remember information about your visit. Some are essential for the website to work, while others (analytics and advertising) are optional.

2. Cookies we rely on

Calcvita uses three categories of cookies:

  • Essential: required for the site to operate (e.g., remembering your language).
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4): enabled only when you grant consent (analytics_storage=granted). Metrics are recorded with IP anonymisation and the standard Consent Mode delay.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): loaded only when a publisher ID (ca-pub) is configured and you allow ad_storage=granted. Until AdSense is approved or if you reject cookies you will see the “Espacio para publicidad” placeholder.

3. Managing consent

We display a banner on your first visit so you can accept or reject optional cookies. Accepting sets the four Consent Mode v2 signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) to granted. Rejecting keeps them in denied.

Your choice is saved in the browser local storage under the public key defined in the .env file and you can change it whenever you need.

4. Change or revoke your choice

Click the button below to reset the banner and return to the default state. You can also limit or block cookies directly in your browser settings.

The banner will be shown again so you can choose afresh.

5. Contact and updates
